Melissa McLaughlin

Melissa joined AFS as an Administrative Assistant in 2021, coming from a business and restaurant management background.  After a few years, she stepped into a new role, Client Service Coordinator, and has enjoyed learning the intricacies of working with our back office and providing excellent service for our clients.  Melissa works closely with our 401(k) plan sponsors to service and maintain retirement plans, as well as build relationships with those clients.  She’s has enjoyed being part of the AFS team.

Melissa and her husband Craig enjoy spending time with their four children, boating, wandering the Iowa State Fair or tossing tennis balls to their dogs, Chewie and Solo.  Melissa also enjoys reading books, baking and being crafty - either with Photoshop, DIY or quilting.
